Prayer Changes Us.

Prayer Is Simply Talking To God.

May We Pray For You?

Today we are living in desperate times. Yet, the Church is not desperate before God in Prayer.

An Invitation to Pray
As Jesus yielded up His spirit at his death, the veil of the temple was rent (Matthew 27:51), signifying that God was opening a way of direct access into His presence. God now invites His children to enjoy this priceless gift and draw near to Him by the “new and living way” He has provided through his Son. (Hebrews 10:19-22).

Jesus’ Instruction
As you respond to God’s call to draw near, desiring to pray in a way which pleases Him, you will benefit greatly from Jesus’ instruction to His disciples. (Matthew 6:9-13). In this passage known as The Lord’s Prayer, Jesus taught us the general areas we need to include a healthy prayer life.

Understanding the Prayer Guide
This prayer guide is a practical tool to help you recognize the specific issues included in the Lord’s Prayer. For example under the heading, Your Kingdom Come-Your Will Be Done, you are reminded to pray for God’s rule and reign over yourself, your family, your Church, and the lost. These words help you remember to pray for areas of vital concern. The inevitable result is that you find yourself running out of time, rather than running out of things to pray about!

The Holy Spirit
Romans 8:26-27 teaches that the Holy Spirit has come to help us pray, “For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought.” Jude 20 tells us, “Building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.” Let the Holy Spirit open The Lord’s Prayer up to you as you move through the prayer guide, asking Him to show you specific applications in your life.

Final Exhortation
If you have the desire to pray, only two things are needed; discipline and perserverance! May God richly bless you as you press on to develop a rich prayer life.
